Gallery25 in Gyumri was founded in 2001 and now has more than 17 active members and artists.
It is located at Berlin Art Hotel, Haghtanaki 25 Gyumri (the name of the gallery comes from the street number it is located), where all 15 rooms and the halls feature the works of local artists.
Since its establishment the gallery is a place of various exhibitions of local and international artists, as well as one of the centers hosting Gyumri Biennial of Contemporary Art.
Gallery is centrally located, close to museums of Gyumri and its old city with 19th century architecture and ancient history.
Gallery 25 has supported the participation of its members in artist in residency projects in Europe the United States and currently one of the young artists is participating in an art session at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in USA.
The gallery has arranged numerous exhibitions in Armenia, Georgia and European countries, as well as initiated and headed "Art for Charity" to support the special needs school N 3 in Gyumri, financing the project with the amount of sold works in Fresno, CA, USA.
Gallery 25 has scheduled 11 exhibitions this year starting from June and four exhibitions (three personal and one, including works of 16 artists) have already been arranged and exhibited from February 2012 till May 2012.
